Women in Transition Offers Free Financial Seminar with Michael J. Maye, CPA®

Why it is Critical for Women to Plan for Retirement

Elderly women comprise a significant group of the nation’s poverty. They are twice as likely as men to be poor in their retirement years because, on average they earn less, outlive men and, are more likely to outlive their savings. It doesn’t matter what stage you are in, but what is important is that you begin the process and be consistent. Come in and learn how, and take the first step to making retirement planning a priority.

Please call 973-694-9215 to register for the Free Financial Seminar, Monday evening, November 26th, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Sponsored by Women in Transition, and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Michael J. Maye, CPA®, Certified Financial Planner, and President of MJM Financial Advisors, LLC will talk about what you need to be doing right now to begin your plan.

Mr. Maye will discuss what you need to be doing to insure a secure retirement, from assessing your current needs to planning for the future. You will learn what you need to know about saving, investing and social security.

Prior to successfully starting his own firm, Mr. Maye held a variety of positions with some of the world’s premier financial services organizations. His responsibilities included: strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, mergers & acquisition analysis and joint venture development.
